Hi! I’m Anna Vanderhoof, a 29-year old environmental engineer. I graduated college in 2011, worked hard, paid off my student and auto-loan debt, and saved a decent sum of money. You see, I always had this dream of traveling the world, seeing new places, meeting new people, and having perspective-broadening experiences. So, at the beginning of August, I left my job in NYC to begin this adventure.
I just got home from seven months traveling overseas. All I can say is that I wish I could travel forever with intermittent breaks to come home and recharge. Traveling and exploring the world makes me feel so alive.
During this time, I have figured out that I absolutely adore large mountains and being up at summit, I feel strong, acccomplished, and vivacious.
